Trump’s Niece To Publish Tell-All Including ‘Salacious’ Details About President: Report
President Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, will publish an insightful book about her uncle a few weeks before the Republican National Convention, The Daily Beast reported on Sunday evening.
The book entitled "Too Much and Never Enough" will be published in August and is said to contain "brutal" stories about the President. The Beast notes that the book will reveal Mary Trump as the source of a pioneering New York Times investigation that outlined a number of financial plans that Trump was involved in in the 1990s and that helped his parents, millions of Dodge taxes.
The story, which showed that Trump inherited today's equivalent of more than $ 400 million from his father's real estate empire under the programs, was awarded a Pulitzer Prize.
"As she will explain in her book, Mary has been a major source of the newspaper's Pulitzer Prize investigation, providing the newspaper with Fred Trump Sr.'s tax returns and other highly confidential family financial documents," the store reported. citing unnamed sources who are familiar with the book.
Mary Trump has been largely out of the spotlight since 2000 when her family was involved in a bitter legal battle over the estate of the President's father, Fred Trump Sr.
The beast said the tell-all will also include conversations with Trump's sister Maryanne Trump Barry and will include "intimate and damned thoughts about her brother".
Mary Trump's father, Fred Trump Jr., died in 1981 of a heart attack due to complications from alcoholism. He had been a potential heir to Trump's business for a while, but left the company to work for an airline.
In an interview with the Washington Post last year, the president said he regretted putting pressure on his brother to leave the family business.
"I regret putting pressure on him," Trump told the outlet. "It just wasn't his thing. . . . I think the mistake we made was that we assumed everyone would like it. That would be the biggest mistake. "
The Daily Beast notes that Mary Trump's book will address her father's alcoholism and claim that "Donald and Fred Trump Sr. contributed to his death and neglected him in critical phases of his addiction."
The book will be published by Simon & Schuster on August 11th. Several major RNC events will take place later this month in Florida, including Trump's acceptance of the Republican nomination.
