Warwick's hilarious tweets made their way to Saturday Night Live, and now Twitter is showing legendary singer love by putting one of them on a billboard in New York City. She is one of several tweets posted on billboards in places like Philadelphia, Los Angeles and the San Francisco / Oakland area where Twitter screeds were blown up in connection with 2020 by influencers like Lauren LaBlue, Angie Thomas and Denzel Dion.
"Please don't bring this stupidity into 2021," read the Warwick billboard. She posted the tweet on December 11th.
The billboard went up in Bryant Park not long after Warwick realized that Jack Dorsey, the head of the huge social media site, was one of its supporters. A fan asked if Warwick was the CEO of Twitter, to which she replied, "Am I @jack?"
Dorsey replied, "Yes, you are."

Warwick recently made headlines related to Twitter, but she joined the site in 2012. Many doubted she was the author of their funny tweets, but she posted a video that helped her niece Brittani Warwick get to the Wisdom is Her Own website.
Brittani, a social media consultant, recently told Harper's Bazaar that her aunt Dionne “is perfect for Twitter. "

It's biological, ”said Brittani. "She is apologetic herself, but everything she does is with love, even if she puts you in your place a little. It's all for love. Twitter is the perfect place for it - that's where she lives best."
Brittani told the outlet that the rest of her family thought Aunt Dionne's antics on the social media site were funny. Through these Twitter trolls, the younger Warwick called her relative "a person who doesn't need coaching to stand up for himself." Either she will ignore it or she will face you directly. I've seen her stand up to herself a few times and I ask, "Oh, you got it."
