Two Killed in Porsche 911 GT3 Rollover Crash on Angeles Crest Highway

Two people were killed in a car crash involving a Porsche 911 GT3 on the Angeles Crest Highway outside of Los Angeles on Friday morning, KTLA reports.
Aerial photos of the scene, released on Twitter by Fox LA reporter Stu Mundel, show firefighters and LASD Special Enforcement recovering the vehicle, a red-painted 997.1 GT3, from the cliff just off the road. Judging by the damage, it looks like the car rolled over at least once.

According to the KTLA, the two inmates, whose identities were not shared, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The Angeles Crest Highway is an enthusiast's paradise in the Los Angeles area thanks to its sweeping curves, smooth pavement and breathtaking views. It's considered one of the best roads in the state of California, although there are long stretches with steep drops and no drains.
The police have not yet released any further details on how the accident happened.
