Christopher's caption: "Go forward in life with a wink and a smile on your face. The precious thing we have in life is life itself !! Thank you to everyone who found out about everything that I have been through. I appreciate your good wishes !! "
The 14-year-old's current condition is unknown, but on October 4, he was pinned under an electric golf cart after accidentally tossing it over a curb in Weston. Two other girls were thrown from the vehicle and treated at a local hospital.
Christopher suffered serious injuries to both legs, according to a police report from the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
Mother Elizabeth Gutierrez wrote in late November that her son, a baseball player attending private school in Plantation, was on his way to good health. She thanked his doctors and all friends and fans who supported the family.
"My [boy] is much better than he was when he started, but we are continuing his recovery," the telenovela actress said. “If I admired his strength before, I admire him more now !! This mental strength, combined with his belief in God, was the best tool !! "
