Underwater video shows ash covering La Palma sea life

Recordings showed habitats that were covered by volcanic ash and lava landslides to depths of 400 meters (1312 feet) on La Palma.
The delta was formed on September 29th when lava from the volcano plunged into the Atlantic.
Cumbre Vieja volcano began spewing glowing lava and ash on September 19, with the eruption showing little sign of subsiding so far after destroying around 2,000 buildings and forcing thousands to vacate their homes.
