Unruly passenger on diverted Delta Air Lines flight identified as off-duty flight attendant
Delta Air Lines on Saturday identified an unruly passenger as an off-duty flight attendant on a Friday night flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
The cell phone video shows passengers above the person and gives a voice over the aircraft's loudspeaker system: "This is the captain speaking. We want all the strong men at the front of the aircraft to handle a problematic passenger."
The flight was diverted to Oklahoma City and the FBI arrested the person on unknown allegations. The passenger's name was not published.

FBI spokeswoman Megan Lauro would only say that the FBI is investigating the incident.
According to Delta, the person had at least tried to access the aircraft's PA system before confronting passengers.
"Thanks to the crew and passengers on Delta Flight 1730 (LAX to ATL) who helped arrest a recalcitrant passenger when the flight was diverted to Oklahoma City (OKC)," Delta said in a statement. "The plane landed without incident and the passenger was taken away by law enforcement agencies. We apologize to our customers for the delay and the additional inconvenience this caused."
The airline said the flight resumed to Atlanta after the passenger was removed from the flight.
