On April 27, the two Chairs of the Indian Senate, Caucus John Cornyn and Mark Warner, asked US President Joe Biden to lend a hand to countries severely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The duo called the situation in India "alarming" and said in their letter to Biden (pdf): "US government agencies - both civil and military - should be mobilized to lead an international response to the pandemic."
