Thursday was her first Thanksgiving since her split from Tom Vitale. The couple, who have been married for 10 years, finalized their divorce just days ago. She called the day the "second best day" of her life.
The Hot in Cleveland star filed for divorce in May, six months after filing for legal separation in November 2021.
In June, the actress appeared on the Today Show with Hoda Kotb and got emotional when asked if she ever wanted to look for love again, and replied, "Oh god no." Valerie Bertinelli/Instagram

"Because of the challenges I'm going through right now, because divorce sucks. I can't imagine ever trusting anyone to let them into my life again. So I have some trust issues that I'm sure I'll have to get around," added Bertinelli.
After the Golden Globe winner filed for a divorce from Vitale, he filed for spousal support in June, according to documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, obtained by PEOPLE at the time.
According to the documents, Vitale also attempted to prevent Bertinelli from seeking spousal support and questioned the validity of her marriage contract.

In July, Bertinelli responded to her ex's challenge to her prenuptial agreement by filing a 13-page petition to divorce her marital status from financial issues in her and Tom Vitale's divorce, according to court filings seen by PEOPLE. The court documents say Bertinelli is seeking "an early and separate trial on the question of the validity of the prenuptial contract."
Ultimately, Bertinelli's filing meant a separate process from any other pending divorce-related issues — a move she took after Vitale filed for $50,000 a month in spousal support and $200,000 a month in legal fees in early July, according to the records receive.
Bertinelli's filing argued that her prenuptial agreement, signed in 2010 before the two married, contained a "waiver of temporary and permanent spousal support."
The settlement ultimately resulted in Bertinelli Vitale having to pay a hefty sum. According to documents, the Food Network star will pay her ex-husband $2.2 million "in full, final and complete settlement and satisfaction of all claims between them." Neither Bertinelli nor Vitale will receive spousal support as "set out in the marriage contract," the documents say.
In court documents from the first divorce filing, Bertinelli cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the dissolution of their marriage.
