Vanessa Bryant Celebrates Daughter Capri Kobe's 1st Birthday: 'Named After Her Dearly Missed Daddy'

Vanessa Bryant celebrates her youngest daughter's first birthday almost five months after the death of husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna.
On Saturday, the proud mother of four, 38, shared a warm birthday tribute to daughter Capri on Instagram when the little one turned 1. Vanessa published a loving relapse photo of herself and Kobe cradling their little girl, whose middle name is a namesake, her basketball legend father.
"Happy 1st Birthday Capri! Mom, Dad, Nani, Gigi and BB love you so much !!!" Vanessa has labeled the post. "God bless you, sweet princess." Capri Kobe Bryant a.k.a. 'Koko-Bean', named after her very missing father, Kobe Bean Bryant. "
"We miss you so much, Gigi and Daddy," added Vanessa, who is also the mother of daughters Natalia (17) and Bianka (3).
Vanessa posted a smiling photo of all three daughters and another shot of the birthday child smiling in front of her festive birthday cake shaped like the Tokyo Disneyland castle!
"Happy 1st Birthday Capri! We love you so much, Mamacita," wrote her proud mother before explaining the sweet story behind the cake. "Natalia had the original Disneyland Castle, Gianna had the Walt Disney World Castle, Bianka had Disney Paris, and Capri had the Tokyo Disney Castle cake."
When the couple welcomed Baby Capri last June, the Los Angeles Lakers star announced the happy news on Instagram and wrote, "We're thrilled that our little girl 'Koko' has arrived !! #bryantbunch # 4princesses #blessed."
Vanessa previously shared with her father's eyes how much Baby Capri resembles both Gianna and Kobe.

Kobe, 41, died on January 26, along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others, in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California. Since the tragedy, the family has marked several milestones without their deceased loved ones, including Gigi's 14th birthday on May 1st.
"Happy 14th birthday Gigi! ❤️", Natalia wrote on Instagram at the time. "I miss your smile every day, but I know that you always smile down on us with dad from heaven. I love you ...?"
Vanessa celebrated her own birthday on May 5th, and her daughters celebrated a sweet feast for her mother. Natalia gave her a birthday card on which she wrote: "You are the strongest person I know and I am so grateful to have you as my mother!"

Mother's Day was another bittersweet day without Kobe and Gianna. Vanessa thought of the vacation by staying at home with her girls.
The sisters gave their matriarch a special book called Why I Love My Mother. "I love you so much @nataliabryant, Gianna, Bianka and Capri! Thanks!" Vanessa wrote on her Instagram story.
In May there was also the graduation of Gianna's eighth grade, which Vanessa marked with a moving photo and a message of congratulations: "Congratulations on your graduation from Gigi eighth. I love you forever and always. I am so proud of you . ❤️, mom # classof2020 ", she labeled the photo of the middle school diploma covered with white flowers.
