Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) Rep. And NYC mayoral candidate Maya Wiley were seen dancing at a Strokes concert in New York City on Saturday night.
Videos posted on TikTok and Twitter show the couple enjoying the show from the mezzanine and waving to concert goers downstairs.
The concert was a fundraiser for Wiley, with all proceeds going towards the civil rights attorney's mayoral campaign, according to the NME. Wiley recently shot second in the polls behind Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams after getting AOC approval last week, according to PIX 11.

AOC was one of the starters of the show, along with comedian John Mulaney, who is returning to comedy after rehab for alcohol and cocaine addiction last winter.
The Strokes concert was the first full-capacity indoor concert in New York City since the pandemic, according to NME. Participants had to present a negative COVID test in order to participate.
It was also The Strokes' first in-person concert since the pandemic, NME reported. The Strokes previously hosted a virtual event for Wiley.
Frontman Julian Casablancas said in a statement before the show that, according to NME, Wiley is "absolutely the best bet to become NYC's next mayor."
He added, “She is the only lead candidate without a PAC (Political Action Committee), so it is a privilege to use art to support a non-corporate candidate fighting difficult adversity. She is a benevolent fighter; in the town hall she has The policeman who killed Eric Garner fired. We need to choose people we can trust so that we know the people of NYC are safe and in the best of hands when tough decisions have to be made behind closed doors. "
In response, Wiley said she was "so grateful to The Strokes for their support for my campaign and vision for this city and for their dedication to making this event safe and successful," said NME.
