Vikings add two corners, designate Pat Elflein for return from IR
The Vikings returned from their bye week by announcing a handful of squad moves, including the addition of a pair of cornerbacks to the active roster.
Minnesota called Chris Jones from the exemptions and signed Mark Fields of their training team. They also named security guard Pat Elflein and linebacker Troy Dye for returning from the injured reserve.
Jones was ousted by the Lions on Saturday after appearing in a game for the team. Detroit signed him off from the Cardinals' training team last month.
Fields appeared in a game for the Vikings this season and also played a game for them last year.
Elflein has been sidelined with a thumb injury since the first week of the season. Dye has missed the last four games with a foot injury.
