Washington is signing LB Mychal Kendricks off of Seahawks practice squad
The Washington Football team is adding depth to its linebacker rotation by dropping former linebacker Mychal Kendricks of Seattle Seahawks from the training team and adding him to the team.
According to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post, Kendricks will be flying to Washington privately so he won't have to take the 6 days of COVID testing prior to entry and play the Carolina Panthers in week 16.
This is a big commitment for Washington, and we were hoping they would be successful in the off-season, and it also comes at an important time when some of their linebackers were battered or injured. Washington will have a chance to win the NFC East Division with a win over the Panthers on Sunday and the defense will need reinforcements to make that happen.
