Watch: A laid-back John Daly ace prompts charity-pro-am group to go nuts
Nothing about a John Daly Hole-in-One is going to be boring, from the clothes to the colorful language used to describe it. From that standpoint, his youngest ace, who was recently caught on camera on a charity program, doesn't disappoint in the least.
Daly took the 11th hole (par 3) on Sunday at the Bone Frog Open, a charity program at the Federal Golf Club in Glen Allen, Virginia that benefited the families of the fallen Navy SEALS.
Unsurprisingly, Daly wore no hat or shoes and wore brightly colored shorts and hadn't stowed his shirt. Federal Club pro golfer Josh Price captured the swing on camera, followed by the group celebration that followed.
After the high fives, Daly can be heard explaining that the shot is "This mom makes 11 -" and catches himself when he realizes he's being filmed.
