From men's health
Busta Rhymes is no stranger to the plate and regularly publishes updates on his strength training and fitness goals on social media. The rapper increased intensity this week when he went to the gym with bodybuilder and personal trainer Kai Greene. Greene, an Arnold Classic winner and three-time runner-up of Mr. Olympia, shared a photo of her post-training session on his Instagram.
"If you are thinking of idling or doing ONLY enough to get through ... Remember ... People are counting on you to open the door to their potential," the headline says apparently was written by both men. "And when people count on us, we have to live with the result. If we don't get through and their potential is not reached, there is a partial burden on our shoulders. If we let the moments count and do our best, we will get it little gain in our soul because we know that we have made a positive and unforgettable difference.
"It's easy to get into everyday life, but check yourself!" They keep going. "Are you doing your best work? Rain or shine, the world needs more people who promise less and deliver so much more."
A few days later, Busta shared some shots from her intense upper body workout (or "painful beast out," as he called it). The edited clip showed how he and Greene got competitive as they pumped out bench presses, pushups, barbell flies, waiter's curls, and lat pulldowns.
"If that's not inspiration," says Busta, "I don't know what the hell is, man."
