Watch Ducati unveil the first of six new motorcycles live right here
It's a busy time in the motorcycle world. The annual EICMA fair is just around the corner and manufacturers are starting to share information on the new and updated models they will bring to the Italian event. Ducati will make the first of several product announcements on September 30th at 10 a.m. Eastern, and you can stream the reveal right here; We embedded the presentation above.
With the title "Your Everyday Wonder", the first of six planned episodes will present a bicycle that will be added to the range of the Bologna-based company for the model year 2022. Official details are few and far between, but the title, in a not-so-subtle way, suggests that we are about to discover a motorcycle designed for everyday use by a wide variety of riders. It could be related to the Scrambler which is one of the most easily accessible Ducati models. If that is the case, what will it be? The global scrambler range already includes around a dozen different variants, including a café racer.
If you're as curious as we are, tune in to the reveal at 10 a.m. Eastern, so 7:00 a.m. Pacific (and 4:00 p.m. Italy). Five more episodes with the titles "Mark Your Roots", "Rule All Mountains", "A New Fighter in Town", "The Evolution of Speed" and Dream Wilder -DesertX "are published simultaneously on Ducati's official YouTube channel every two weeks with today's episode until December 9th.
Some of these titles leave little to the imagination; We suspect that whoever documents a new fighter in town will be related to the StreetFighter. Others are more puzzling. It is almost certain that the last episode will present the production version of the DesertX concept presented in 2019. It was an off-roader inspired by the Ducati models that competed in the grueling Paris-Dakar rally.
