Watch Ryan Reynolds Send Sweet Signals to Daughters While on Good Morning America : 'Hi Guys!'
Ryan Reynolds' daughters are his biggest fans!
The 44-year-old actor gave James, 6½, Inez, 4½, and Betty, 22 months, a special greeting during his Good Morning America appearance on Wednesday. "Today was really the first day they said, 'Wait, you're going to be on TV today?'" He explained, noting that his girls didn't quite realize that their parents are famous.
"I was like, 'Yeah, I'm going to Good Morning America.' They say, 'What's good about it?' "He said, bringing in co-hosts Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos and T.J. Holmes.

"And they say, 'Can you say hello to me?' And I said, 'Sure, I'll say hello to you.' But they wanted me to pull my ear to say hello and then 'Nezzy' my younger daughter that I like wanted to rub my sleeve, "explained Reynolds, demonstrating both hand signals.
"And I thought, 'It's Robin Roberts. Is she going to steal second base today?'" He said, comparing her suggested hand gestures with those in baseball. Then he gave his daughters the call they had hoped for: "Hi guys! How are you?"
Reynolds shares the girls with his wife Blake Lively, whom he married in September 2012 after they met on the set of Green Lantern in 2011. Over the weekend, the couple celebrated the 10th anniversary of their first date at O Ya sushi restaurant in Boston.

"If it weren't for this place. We wouldn't be together. No joke," Lively, 33, wrote on Instagram as she shared photos from the date night. "No restaurant means more to us."
Reynolds shared a selfie of the couple in front of the restaurant and continued their playful online trolling with each other by writing in the caption: "Our favorite restaurant with their 4th favorite date."
"I work in Boston, so my wife and I went," Reynolds said of the trip at GMA. "We're not quite at 10 years, but we've rounded up what we're just going to do. Because in Hollywood years we're 180 years together."

Last month, Reynolds put the jokes aside to give Lively credit for helping her children with virtual schoolwork during the COVID-19 pandemic, when she appeared on the SmartLess podcast.
"They were having a tough time," Reynolds said of his kids who went to school through Zoom. “I looked for external help on the left and right. I've read books. I tried to steer the ship in some way. Blake was so much better at it than me because I'm a kid too. "
