Watch: Young Texans fan is very unhappy with his Bill O’Brien-related Christmas gift
It should come as no surprise that former Texas head coach Bill O’Brien is a persona non grata in the Houston area. After the terrible trades he made as general manager and the highly questionable coaching decisions he made over 100 games, O’Brien was graciously sacked in October.
Not that anyone forgot what they'd done during that time. In this video courtesy of the Lodge on the 6th, we see a young man who is very happy with the DeAndre Hopkins signed helmet he received for Christmas (although there is, of course, a bittersweet component to it, as O'Brien Hopkins traded for the Cardinals in March for running back David Johnson and exchanging some draft picks).
Then another young man in the family opens his gift ... and let's just say it wasn't so well received. A picture signed by Bill O’Brien? The verdict: NO.
If O'Brien hadn't made that terrible deal (Hopkins currently leads the NFL by 1,324 yards while Johnson has racked up 746 yards and five touchdowns in 10 games), maybe he would still be on the team and in the thought of him Not a repulsive element for young football fans in the Houston area.
