Woman Trying to Lose Weight After Hitting 672 Lbs. Struggles to Continue Without a Place to Live
Tiffany Barker had made significant strides toward her weight loss goals. After reaching 672 pounds, she moved to Houston to lose weight and underwent gastric bypass surgery. She is now 264 pounds. and hoping to have their excess skin removed. But she loses her boyfriend's support and the couple run out of money trying to get their weight loss work.
In this exclusive clip from the Wednesday episode of My 600-Lb. Life: where are you now? Barker, 31, and boyfriend Aaron Cornado are moving out of their apartment to save money, but haven't found a new place to live.
"Time is up for me and Aaron," she says. "Our rental date is up and we don't have to be in our place today, but we still don't have a place to go so we put most of our things in a storage unit ... and then we just have it staying in a hotel until we find out something more permanent. "

Cornado hopes to convince Barker to move to California, where they can stay with his parents and save money, but she fears leaving Houston - where she lives with Dr. Younan Nowzaradan worked together to lose weight - will make it impossible to move on.
"I feel like if we do that, there's a good chance it will be a while before we get back. That's not an option for me because I want to keep going on Dr. Now's program," she says. "So [Aaron] agreed that I could have a little more time to help us find a place, at least until we can no longer afford to stay in a hotel."

And Barker is already concerned about the precious time she wastes spending days packing up her apartment and moving out.
"That was such a stressful time for me," she says. "With everything that's going on, I know I haven't made the best decisions about my meals and exercise because I just didn't have the time. And there is no time for exercise other than packing. And I ' I'm frustrated with all of this. "

And as they drive away from the apartment, Barker says she feels like her "heart just fell in my stomach" because "it's getting real that we're officially homeless now".
Barker says her goal is to get a new apartment within the next week and "get it all over with".
"Because this will be a distraction for me by then, and as long as we have to be in a hotel, I won't be able to prepare my meals the way I need them or exercise," she says. "I feel like everything is stalling for me and everything is out of my control. And it's just very frustrating."
