Wyoming coroner set to make announcement on Gabby Petito autopsy
A Wyoming coroner is expected to announce Tuesday the results of an autopsy of Gabby Petito, the 22-year-old travel blogger whose remains were recovered in a national park in September.
Petito's friend and travel companion Brian Laundrie has been identified by investigators as a person of interest in her death and is the subject of a massive FBI-led nationwide search.
Teton County Coroner Dr. Brent Blue said in a media warning Monday night that he plans to "discuss the verdict on the autopsy of Gabrielle Petito".

After Petito's body was discovered in the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Jackson on September 19, Blue said the manner in which Petito's death was a murder was.

Blue's announcement will come amid a nationwide search the FBI is headed for Laundrie, who aroused suspicion after returning home in North Port, Florida in her van in North Port, Florida on Sept. 1, but with her van, authorities said.

Laundrie's parents told police they last saw their son on September 13, two days after Petito's parents, who live in Long Island, New York, reported her missing. Laundrie's parents told investigators that their son may have been heading to the Carlton Reserve, a 25,000-acre nature reserve near their home.
