Your Life Path Number Can Help You Find Your Dream Career

Get moving, astrology! Numerology holds the key to your destiny.
Numerology is the study of the relationships numbers and letters have with our personalities and life events (be patient - I'll explain in a moment how it all works). It's an ancient metaphysical science (-ish) that goes back THOUSANDS of years. Numerology has branches and origins in multiple eras, cultures, and continents (which underscores that there must be something to it, right?).
Western (or "modern") numerology is most popular today. It was created by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras (yes, the triangular person) over 2,500 years ago. The oldest system is probably the Chaldean system (developed by the Chaldeans of ancient Babylon). Other numerology systems include Kabbalah numerology, Chinese numerology, and Tamil numerology. In this piece we will focus on western numerology.
So how does TF numerology work?
Numerologists suggest that each number has its own vibration and has an impact on the world. Important personal information like your name and date of birth has a unique vibration that can explain your characteristics, strengths, and your path in life or destiny. Yeah it's a big deal Get moving, astrology!
Numerology doesn't force you to do anything. It can help you learn more about your potential, what you can achieve, what your life path is likely to be like, and what you might encounter in the process.
Your life path number (also known as your destiny number)
The most important number is your life path number (in Chaldean numerology this is called your destiny number) which gives solid knowledge about your character and the way you live. Your life path number is calculated by adding up all the digits of your date of birth and reducing that total to a single digit. There are two ways to do this (cross over or reduce) so let's focus on the most common method: reduction down.
Calculate your life path number
To find your life path number, simply reduce the digits of your full date of birth until you reach a single digit number - except for 11 and 22, which are considered master numbers (we'll come back to that). This number is your life path number.
Let's say your birthday is November 11, 1992. To calculate your life path number, reduce each component of that date to a single digit:
The month 11 is reduced to 1 + 1 = 2.
The date 11 is reduced to 1 + 1 = 2.
The year 1992 is reduced to 1 + 9 + 9 + 2. This gives 21. Then 21 is reduced to 2 + 1 = 3.
Then we add the reduced numbers for the month, date and year (2 + 2 + 3) and get 7 (if it were a two digit we would add these two digits together to get a single digit). So in this case, your life path number is 7.
The only time you would NOT reduce the final number is when you get 11 or 22. These are regarded as master numbers and represent a more intensive interpretation of their root numbers (2 or 4). Master Numbers suggest a greater potential for success compared to greater challenges.
