Zoë Kravitz just gave us a first look at her portrayal of Selina Kyle, a.k.a. Catwoman, cast in the upcoming Batman movie. Although the teaser trailer for the superhero film starring Robert Pattinson and Matt Reeves offered a glaring glimpse of the actor's feline disguise, a newly released paparazzi photo from the set offers a more elegant preview of Kravitz in the role.
The actress, photographed in Liverpool, England, wore a belted leather coat, matching fascinator, fishnet tights and knee-high lace-up boots. For beauty reasons, her hair was styled in a shoulder-length rag, and her nails, of course, looked in equal parts well-groomed and razor sharp.

Kravitz starred with John Turturro, who plays Gotham crime boss Carmine Falcone in the film. Pattinson was also seen on site earlier in the day. Production for The Batman resumed in mid-September after filming was halted due to Pattinson's diagnosis of COVID-19.

The new set photos are an upgrade of the frugal references to Kravtiz's role in the trailer, in which Catwoman is shown in burglar clothes, including a black hat with cat ears.

Kravitz has been training "intensively" for the famous role for a long time. She said that during an appearance on the Questlove Supreme Podcast, she "spent two months in London just getting in shape, exercising and learning to fight". "I can fight now," she added, indicating that her training has stalled.
The Batman, which was originally scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021, will now be released on March 4, 2022.
